That is not fencing in the background, but rather trees and posts that serve as roosting posts for the eagles within the enclosure. Perhaps just burn them a little so they are darker might make it more pleasing, or replacing the background entirely. |

Different idea, not sure what type of assignment this was for, but the out of focus cats are distracting. Not sure what angle it was taken at, but I would have used LR to straighten the horizon on the shelf that the cats are leaning on. |

Very nice Tern! Crisp and clear. Composition is great. You can see a lot of detail in the feathers and the eye is sharp. you even caught a catch light. Really excellent especially considering you were on a moving boat! |

I am a sucker for slow water! Anytime I see a waterfall, or small brook I think of higher shutter speeds. I like just about everything this image. While the water is smooth the detail in the surrounding areas are crisp and clear. Beautiful shot. |

Colorful and unique, reminds me of Iceland which has colorful houses and small cars parked everywhere. The rain/moody clouds add to the overall image. Very nice. |

Like the gentleman's pose, looks so relaxed and makes me think of a Coffee break (not tea) as it is my beverage of choice when relaxing. I too prefer the color version, I think the colors add to beauty of the image. His character shines through. Nicely done! |

Tuhin, have you looked at any refurbed? B&H as well as Nikon tend to have them. If I ever make a switch to the Sony, you'll be the first to know! I struggle with the weight of the cameras and with the 850 to shoot birds you have to add the grip which is outrageously priced and adds more weight. I really like the new 7r4 has like 60 mp. But I have too much invested in Nikon at this point, something they rely on. |

If I remember this correctly, there were significant issues with the location. The canals while providing beautiful reflections also hinder your movement. And there was some reason I did not shoot at 24mm. I think it was the angle ended up including part of the pavement and since the canal is narrow, logistically I could not get the entire imagine. I do believe I tried but settled for best available.
The 24-120 lens BTW is pretty good. Not as nice as the 24-70 F/2.8, but it is very versatile and less expensive. I got it with my 850. But I use it on the d500 as well. I really love my 500pf. It is light and I can hold it without shake. I have been thrilled with the d500 for birds in flight and fast moving animals.

I left your image for last.....mainly because I love the colors and that beautiful wheel. I struggle with the distortion. That may be just my hangup, but I am pretty sure it would be difficult to impossible to correct the image. I think I would be inclined to crop tight on the wheel to minimize the distortion. But I really love the wheel and would want to have that in my portfolio, just because it is so colorful, crisp, and clean. The effect reminds me of a fisheye lens and I know many really like that look, just not my cup of coffee (since I don't drink tea). |

Quite a conference center and hotel! Perfect shot of a beautiful place. It makes me want to travel to Antwerp and walk through those beautiful columns! You have managed to capture the beauty of the ornate structure. That hallway leads me right into the glimpse of the external building and makes me want to see more. I can't imagine the difficult upkeep a that building, but it is certainly unique and takes us back to a different time. Thanks for sharing this magnificent building and image!
Shooting at 24 mm T/S meaning Tilt Shift? I am amazed at how clean the overall perspective is on the finished product. Was any straightening required in processing? |

Not questioning where or if it is a sunrise or sunset, I'm just intrigued about the where and how. Having always visited the west coast of Florida on vacay, I was surprised to find out there was no sunset on the ocean in South Florida (dah...pretty dumb, huh?) .......Geography is not one of my strongest knowledge base, but I keep trying to educate myself since it is so important for photography, so I was trying to learn more about where and how he took the shot. David, this was not a criticism at all just an enquiring mind. |

Tuhin, that is a wall hanger! It is stunning. Not one thing to critique, love the colors, perspective, and reflections.Very sharp, and very little noise. Don't get much better than this. I am always amazed at the beauty of what a photographer's eye can envision and then transfer that to others so that they too may enjoy. |

Very nice snow scene, like the composition, the trees lead me right into those beautiful buildings. Was it still actively snowing when you were shooting? The sky certainly looks like snow! There also appears to be some "fog" probably from the snow hitting the warm ground. I might consider cloning out the small poles and rope that connect them just to give it a little more pristine look.
While I currently live in South Florida, I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and Lake effects. While not as bad as Buffalo, NY still significant! |

The colors are incredibly beautiful and the reflections only expand it even more.Out of curiosity, at the horizon junction - is that a jetty? Just trying to figure out how a tanker is in deep enough water if that is a land mass. Were you on a boat when you took it ? Since you're on the west coast I believe, where do you get sunrises? In Florida we only get sunrises, no sunsets on the ocean. Have to go to west coast of Florida or the Everglades because we are so flat it is visible in the swamp!. Just trying to figure out how you managed that sunrise and where. Delta tanker may mean something ...
But overall very nice image, especially like the coloring.....but I am a sucker for a pretty and pink sunrise! |
