37 Jul 19 Reply Thank you Helen. I usually use the following fix settings to take star night or milky way photos: max aperture e.g. f/2.8, wide angle lens, shuttle speed 25-30 secs, white balance 4500K, and iso will depend on the environment at that time so I have to take multiple shots with different iso settings to decide which iso setting is the best. 37 Jul 19 Reply Thank you Howard. I usually used the 500 rules to decide the max shutter speed to use, which is 500 divided by the focal length of the camera, e.g. for 14mm the max shutter speed is 500/14 = 35 secs. However, I usually used last than 30 secs shutter speed as otherwise I need to use the bulb mode. Jul 24th
37 Jul 19 Comment Great capture of the Osprey action. The bird is pretty sharp, and the detail of its feathers is very nice. Jul 19th
37 Jul 19 Comment Amazing and interesting cross patterns. The light and shadow are great. Very good composition also. You may try to darken the leaves of the upper left-hand corner so it won't distract the overall image too much. Jul 19th
37 Jul 19 Comment Great details and beautiful colors. The background is clean and simple. I like your idea to open up a flower petal so we can see the stigma of the flower. Jul 19th
37 Jul 19 Comment Very nice capture and moody scene. I like the little blue cast of the image. You may lighten up the cloud a little bit to see if the image will pop more. Jul 19th

73 Jul 19 Comment Beautiful light capture on the building. The colors and composition of the image are very nice also. The picture seems to be too dark to me. You may try to increase the exposure or brightness of the image to make it pop more. I hope I can visit this festival in the near future. Jul 19th
73 Jul 19 Comment Beautiful colors and composition. The lake water is also very smooth. Great capture and very well done. Jul 19th
73 Jul 19 Comment The processing of the clouds is great. It made the image look more interesting. Very good composition. The Volcano in the picture is impressive. The mountain and the trees look a little flat so you may try to increase some contrast of the picture. Jul 17th
