Hi Andrew - I love the way you've captured the movement of the water by slowing the shutter speed. I shoot speedway and I have to really utilize shutter speed so that cars retain movement. I also agree with cropping a little off the top. There is plenty of interest and colour provided by the reflections in the water, so it could work well. |

Hi Tom - this is a beautiful closeup of your grape hyacinth. I agree with the previous suggestions and would experiment with both the composition of the three stems and shot angles. |

Hi Bob - I agree with what has already been said. This is beautifully shot and edited. I think Cindy's suggestions improve it further. |

Hi Nelson - I agree with everyone's comments. Well shot and you've done a brilliant job of processing. I personally wouldn't remove the dead petal - it adds character and shows the natural balance of perfection and imperfection. |

Hi Jessica - I too like the way he blends into his surroundings. And as Andrew says, the more you look at this image, the more you see. I would also suggest trying cropping some off the bottom so we see him better. I like the eye looking at you. Definitely a cool shot! |

Hi Michael - what an amazing, creative abstract image. I love it! The stamens are sharp, the pollen clear, and the textures you can still see in the blurred petals and leaf really add to the effect. I'm very curious about the lens combination you've used - thanks for sharing :) |

Hi Connie - what a wonderful concept! I like your re-worked image very much, and agree with Denise that it might be fun to play with the notes coming down the wood and seeming to slip under the rose :) |

Hi Jodi - this is a beautiful flower and I like your processing. I do agree with Denise and her suggestions with textures, although I don't have Topaz. I work with textures in Photoshop. I have built up my own library of textures, and have a folder of them on my hard drive. I'm always adding new ones! I use selective masking like Denise, and also experiment with blend modes for different effects. Have fun! |

Hi Carol - this is a beautiful portrait and I love your processing. I think the colour of the umbrella depends on the look and feel you want. The beam does in some ways look out of place, but as Jodi says it frames the model. It also gives support to the intriguing path to the left. |
