I love the detail in this - its a really interesting image which tells a story. Hand held with shutter speed at 1/6 - you must have a very steady hand! I have a friend who uses Luminar AI - and he loves it. I must check it out :) |

This is a beautiful image of the flower; it is light and ethereal, but with strength in its colour and composition. It reminds me of a dancer. As Cindy said, try experimenting with slight curves adjustments - but I do love it just as it is, too. |

Like the others have said, I like both your composition and the colours. The oil painting filter makes it look like an intricate needlework. Well done! |

I love this image Cindy - you did well to be so patient and get an image where he was looking at you. It really adds to the connection with this beautiful bird. I also like your subtle processing. |

Hi Jessica - I love that you have been able to get the catchlights in his eyes - I zoomed in to see if I could get an idea of where he is!
As the others have said, great iPhone shot with clarity and detail. |

I really like this. I like that your finished image has a lighter background at the top, darker at the bottom.
I sometimes use reflections with portraits - they make interesting end results. |

Hi Connie - I love your experiment :) I think Linda's crop improves the image. I do find the very bright trunk a bit too distracting and would darken it just a little. I feel the smaller tree in the centre should take your eye back up to the stars to complete the circle, rather than the long straight, bright trunk above the weeds/animal shape.
You've inspired me to get out of my comfort zone more often! |

Hi Witta, your image is peaceful and invites me along the trail. I love the way the light emphasises the path, and it is interesting how suggestions of lightening and darkening can have the same effect - but with subtle changes in mood.
It reminds me that there is never one set way to achieve an end-point, and it is so important to take the time to experiment. |

Hi Georgianne, I love your composition and your editing techniques really make this image special.
I usually like mono, but I do like your final colour version. I think it's because it has more depth. As others have said, I would like to see a little more contrast and depth in the old stone building and the water wheel - I think this would really elevate the black and white version. |
