Hi Marcela - you're doing better than me with focus stacking! I haven't submitted any of mine, as I'm just not getting good results.
I love the reds in the flowers, and I like your crop. Keep submitting your focus stacked images for us to see how you progress :) |

Hi Bob - I agree with the previous comments about cropping. I love the detail you've captured in the dahlia - it's beautiful. |

Good work and great result Nelson. I've been trying to process my photo stacks using Photoshop. It's OK but I'm finding it's slow and results are not often accurate. Thanks for the mention about Helicon Focus. I might read up about it. |

Hi Cindy, great job using the shallow depth of field. I sometimes find portraits taken straight on a bit confronting, but this is well done and suits the subject. The crisp focus of the head combined with the fading focus along the body gives good depth.
As others have commented, I like the texture you've used in the background. |

Hi Jessica. A very interesting image - it really grabs attention. You've captured the details and the colours really well.
I like the colours as they are. I would probably select the main object and experiment with that and the background separately. A vignette may help, but I don't think you need to do much to this. |

Hi Denise - I love your finished result.
Did you use a blend mode for your vignette? I am interested in different effects using vignettes. The light grey gives a soft feel :) |

Hi Linda. I love your use of textures and colour grading with LUTs.
I agree with what has already been suggested. I would like to see just a touch less texture on the flowers. It needs to be there to keep the continuity of the theme, just painting out with a low opacity brush would make the flowers stand out a little more.
Definitely something that would look amazing on the wall! |

Thanks Georgianne - I've created a much improved finished version by bringing back that little bit of detail. |

Hi Connie - beautiful composition. I really like Linda's suggestion - it's kept your original intention for the image and sharpened the top hosta bud.
I too use high pass to good effect. |

The beauty of art is always in the eye of the beholder! You are a really good friend to create another image.
Georgianne has picked up the sunflower that I feel needs adjusting back - so nothing more to add from me. Except, well done - and great experimenting :) |
