Hi Bob. I really like the result focus stacking gives you. I will have to try it for myself.
With your focus stack, would you be able to bring into focus the softer areas at the base of the left-hand seed pod? I think it would improve the look of that pod and the beautiful depth you have achieved overall in the image. |

Hi Cindy. I like the diagonal aspect of the unfurling fern. The depth of field is perfect - everything on the front plane is in focus, the other half of the frond is soft.
I like that you have left some detail in the background, just to give it place. |

Hi Jessica - what a great capture. I like that the frog is emerging from under the rock, with his (or her) eye on the prize. His colour makes him stand out well.
I will be interested to see how you process this image. |

Hi Denise. I like your light touch on this image. It feels as nature intended.
I like the yellow in the centre. It draws my eye and I find the detail quite absorbing.
I also like the leaf resting naturally on the petals, however, I do like Witta's suggestion of darkening it slightly. |

Hi Bunny - what a beautiful, ethereal scene, with such a sad truth.
I like your simple treatment. It is what it is, it has its own story. I really want to travel down the path.
Stay safe. |

Wow! It's interesting how we all see things a little differently - I love that about this group.
Cecilia - I love this image and your creative interpretation. I have read everyone's comments with interest.
My thoughts are: I like that Stephen's mirrored image gives her a perfect sky, and an even path which gives me the impression she is definitely travelling forward into the scene - not just observing.
I like the people in the image. she is there for a purpose, and as Denise said, not everyone has noticed her yet, but they will.
I like the idea of removing the sign on the left and the hanging sign on the right. It would help me to focus on the story of the angel and the people.
Beautiful! |

Hi Connie - your comments about stamping up in Photoshop made me smile - I do exactly the same thing.
I sometimes create two entirely different looks for an image, so I can take the time to consider which one best tells the story.
I don't find the objects in your image disparate - I feel your processing has pulled them together. The objects are old, the flowers fresh. A great story :) |

Hi Witta. I love the early morning feel you have created with the colour tones you have used. I also like that the presets you used have brought out a feeling of fog. As Connie says, it goes with the feeling of early morning sunrise.
Your depth of field brings the boat forward to me, and makes me look at its occupants. I really like your finished result. |

Hi Georgianne. I love what you have done, and the colour tones achieved through the use of your beautiful texture.
You've created a sense of timelessness. As Connie says, a memory of things past.
Love it! |
