Hi Andrew - great shot!
I would try selective sharpening, painting in selected parts of the spider and his/her meal. Then movement is an integral part of the image. |

Hi Marcela, I love the simplicity of the single branch and red berry. To my eye, Cindy's subtle lightening of the centre and darkening of the edges enhances greatly. |

Hi Nelson - beautifully done. I love the colour and the beautifully sharp water droplets. It all works well with the darkened background. |

Lovely image Cindy. I like the touch of blue, it accentuates the warm colour of the cockle shell. What a great idea for composition, making it so much more than just a shell. |

Hi Jessica - the iris is beautiful, and in the end it must have been good to get out and about. It's strange times!
I use the DXO Photolab software when I have blown highlights or too much noise, it does a really good job of both.
The other thing I do after bringing back as much detail as possible, is to clone in texture from other parts of the flower onto a new layer, adjusting opacity to suit, then add a solid fill layer in the colour I need, and adjust blend mode and % fill. |

Hi Bunny, what a lovely glimpse into your home, and your interests. I feel like I'm in the piano seat.
You've brought out the textures in the piano beautifully, but I agree, stepping back and starting with more would take away the restrictions created by shooting close. I can't add more to the suggestions above.
I do like the way you've brought me into the shot as the viewer. |

What an amazing image - everything about it is just lovely.
I agree with removing the signs, it will put more emphasis on the cross, and tell the story more clearly.
The colours are perfect, and the beautiful girl just makes it special. |

Hi Connie, I love your concept of combining the flowers. I agree that the sunflower doesn't quite work for me, and I like both Georgianne's and Witta's experiments with your image.
One thing I often do is take the edited image, overlay it on itself, play with placement, size, toning and blend modes. Using the tulips, or part of them as a texture overlay could yield some interesting results. |

Hi Witta, I love your interpretation in black and white. It suits the lines and shadows, as everyone has commented previously.
The converging lines cause me to ask what is at the end of the path?
In this respect, your composition is on point for me. It is too far away for me to expect detail, but there is just enough there for me to imagine what it might be. |

Hi Georgianne, what an inspiration. I often delete or overlook ordinary images - you have inspired me to take a second look.
I can't really add more to the above comments, I agree with toning down the red on the sandals, and experimenting with reducing the texture on the boy.
A fantastic example of creating fine art. |
