Hi Laurie - this is a lovely abstract and I really like your composition. I also like that you've kept the colours natural and mysterious. The only thing I find a little distracting is the spot that intersects with the bottom edge of the crop.
A lovely abstract :) |

Hi Marcela - I like your monochrome version, it's different and shows off the water droplets as Cindy says.
I would like to see the flower a little whiter and the background a little darker, it would stand out better. Lovely image :) |

I love the textures and the colours in this image. I also like that the left 'eye' is partially obscured, adding some interest and intrigue. Great composition and crop and a lovely use of colour and texture. |

Hi Jessica - this is a lovely image, and like Laurie, I also love the colours.
The only thing I find a little distracting is the green stalk on the left.
I really like your composition and the square crop. |

Hi Sandra - I really like what you have done, you've created a lovely image. The simplification of colour really adds to the mood.
I would like to see a bit more towards where the seat is looking in the composition. I feel it's a bit cut off on the left hand side. Seeing more would add to the feeling of emptiness and keep me in the image longer.
Well done! |

Hi Susan - you've created a soft and other-worldly image. I love the composition and the way you've placed the colour and light to suit the butterfly. The final effect stops the pink colour of the flowers competing with the butterfly, instead they enhance the overall image and the story. Nicely done!
The texture lines on the edges make it look like I'm seeing the butterfly through a window. I love the slight darkening of the edges, but wonder what it would look like if the lines on the edges were softer and less distracting. |

Hi Karl - this is a really interesting image, and it definitely tells a story.
I think it's interesting that you've used a composition placing the textures created by the flow of the stream in various diagonal directions - adding a sense of movement that gives a hint of the moving water and contrasts with the ice shape captured on the left. |

Wow Judith - I love this image you have created! The stepped lens zoom effect has given the image a sense of movement and interest, rather than being static. I think the addition of curves is also what adds interest and mystery.
I like your crop, drawing my eye in. |
