Hi Laurie - I love your image, it's fun and bright. Using the backlight you've enhanced the interest provided by all the coils in the slinky. Well done - it must have been an interesting workshop! |

Hi Marcela - you have captured a wonderful nature image. It has interest, the flower is beautiful and it is well exposed. I like the depth of field you have used - it brings out the subject. Well done. |

Hi Cindy. This is a really beautiful image. I love your composition, the lighting and your processing treatment. My only comment is to agree with Jessica - I would like to see a little more of the neck, so I connect it with the body. |

Hi Jessica
I am really enjoying this image. The more I look at it the more I see. I think it is very cleverly done. The flaking paint and rust texture are nice and sharp, contrasting well with the misty, light, out of focus lines through the gap.
I like the colours of the little bit of rust and the greens. I think they add something to the image. So, I guess my only comments are to try slightly increasing the vibrance of the rust as it is central, and to gently lighten the small metal bars either side of the gap, to draw the eye in and add more of a 3-dimensional feel. |

Hi Karl - what an amazing image! It must have been even more amazing to watch live. Thank you for giving us perspective with the people. I agree with all the comments above, so won't repeat them. Like Judith I also see fire sprites - lots of them, adding dimension to your image.
There is so much symbolism in your image, it is truly able to tell multiple stories. Well captured! Burning Man is definitely on my bucket list. |

This is a lovely, moody image Anurada. I love the abstract layers created by the two types of clouds, the mountains, the hill in the foreground, and the interest stirred by the village in the centre.
I agree with the above comments. It would be interesting to try a couple of different crops. You could make a bit more of a panoramic crop and try using gradient layers to add subtle dark vignettes at the left and right hand sides rather than a crop.
The village piques my interest and I would like to see a bit more detail of it - just enough for my imagination to focus on. I had a bit of a play with your image, and increased the contrast with adjustment layers. Using selective masking, you could bring out more of the village details without affecting the lovely mistiness of the scene as a whole. |

Hi Susan - well done, the sunflowers are beautiful and your composition with the jug handle and the leaf lifts this image from the ordinary to one with a story.
I think the two versions - colour and black and white - each tell a different story. They each have a different look and feel and I like them both for different reasons. the black and white looks like an old photo from a magazine, whereas the colour version exudes the warmth of a late summer.
I agree with Val's comments for things to try. Enhancing the details in the centre of the main flower would create more interest and give more dimension. I would also like to see the secondary flowers and leaves less busy. |

Hi Val - this is a very beautiful image with great depth. I agree with Susan's comments about the vignette being too heavy.
I like the format of Susan's pano crop but love the depth of your image retains with its original crop. I do agree it needs a more panoramic crop though, it gives me a feeling of space and keeps my eye looking at the wonderful details in the rock formations.
Maybe you could experiment with cropping from the bottom - how much can you crop and retain that lovely depth? |

Hi Judith - I love it! You've created an other-worldly air of mystery and intrigue, with stylish simplicity. An interesting comment from Val - it would be great as a book cover. It would make me want to turn the pages to learn more about the figure behind the wire. Well seen and well captured. |
