This old building has some really cool character to it, Cindy. I see that you cropped out most of the tree on the far right side. I would hate to crop out the other distant tree on the right because that would eliminate some of the gold color in the far distant line of trees. So I think the crop is good. Your post processing has really brought out the color in the sky and the building nicely. Good depth of field with the f/11 aperture, too. |

This Jay is posing for you perfectly. Nice capture. When in the field, we can't always control the foreground or background, and in a perfect world you would not have the out of focus branches in front of the bird. Having said that, however, I think your focus is sharp and helps the viewers eyes get drawn in right to the bird's face. |

Charlie, I cropped your photo way down to eliminate any background distractions and allow the eye to just focus on the center of the orchid and its colors. I just wanted to rid the scene of the leaf in the upper left and the wet sidewalk in the background - these may draw the eye away from the most interesting object - the center of the flower and its amazing colors. |

Focus on the face looks a little soft, although I think the position of her face is placed perfectly. She is looking off to our right and the flowers frame the model nicely. Perhaps a slightly tighter crop that would eliminate the "empty" space in the upper left and right of the image. |

You have targeted the most interesting part of the photo, and that is the face of the pony. The vignette helps to highlight the face and the color adjustment is nice, although it looks a bit redder than the original color. The face seems just a tad soft on focus. |
