I just did a Google search - amazing! How long does a given set of projections on the opera house stay stationary? I look forward to seeing your pictures in the next month or two ...how cool! |

Nice image, Steve! Great rule of thirds usage and having strong content in the foreground. |

Lovely image Ian! I am a sucker for the sun-star effect so often will narrow my aperture and increase exposure to get the light detail. Just love night photography, nice job! |

Another amazing image Peter, and another scene (Northern Lights) I'd love to photograph. I love the way the lights and "fairway" and snow bank lead me into the image, great leading lines. |

Beautiful image Tuhin! I love astro photography though have never attempted it! Combining panorama's at 15 seconds amazes me since the earth isn't stationary - there is great detail. |

As others have said, I love the moodiness of the image. Your positioning and the flow of the river leads me right into the scene. |

Thank you Tuhin! Not HDR, no. I've wanted to learn how but am still trying to get the basics down before adding additional complexity :) |

Beautiful capture, Sherry! Congrats, too, on your D850 - just an amazing piece of equipment. I've been reading about wildlife photography - what focus point(s) were you using? Fortunate to have gotten this level of definition at 1/50th as well! Check out Steve Perry's .PDF guide to focusing systems on the D850 - a good read which I found helpful. |
