Don, sometimes what you leave out of an image is what makes the difference, In my opinion, Geralds changes change your image from a good image, to a great one. Bruce |

Isaac, As Gerald said, I also like the definition in the muscles the water in the background, and the flying sand by the ball. Bruce |

Gerad, Certainly an image you should enter into a pj exhibition. Not sure if I like it, but include a slight crop off the top but the height of the wave certainly make the viewer think. Bruce |

Andre, Wow, a threefer, As Isaac said except, a thousand tries would not produce this image for me. The lighting is great with the last rider more in the dark, the dust being lit up, the the hight of the second rider all add up to a brilliant image. Bruce |

Ronald, as Isaac said the face has it, but the swing of the bat, the position of the legs of the batsman and the face of the batsman all add extra interest. Nice image. Bruce |

Thank you Isaac. I appreciate your comments, I have moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho from Tacoma, Washington so will loose my ability to photograph at professional venues. I will have to rely on youth, collage and high school games for any new images. I still have a library of professional game images so hope to keep posting them. Bruce |

Karen, a real beauty here. I changed the crop to a square to make the bird stand out more, but love it either way. Bruce |

Isaac, I have several images from that same vantage point and also noticed some strange effects and Maria mentioned. I like the changes she added. Bruce |

Maria, Nice image that almost makes you afraid that it will bite you. In addition to the other comments, I might suggest a square crop to eliminate some of the empty space on the left side of the image. Bruce |

Maria, The Lilac Breasted Roller is indeed a beautiful bird and you have captured a nice image of it. I have included a different crop with a small amount of selected adjustments for you to consider. I added some exposure to the face and brightened the eye just a bit to make it pop. I included the vertical crop because to my eye the large amount of space on the sides did not seem to add anything to the image and the vertical crop made the bird stand out more. Bruce |

Richard, Nice image of a favorite subject for me. My go to location of nearly twenty five nests in a mile has dwindled to zero over the last few years so do not get to see them very often. I did go to Cape Coral last year and got a few images but did not have time to spend for nice locations, light , and poses. so did not get any keepers. I have just moved 900 mile from Tacoma, WA to Idaho Falls, Idaho so hope to find some here. I have included a little different crop for you consideration and added a little dehaze to it. Overall, love it. Bruce |

Adrian, wonderful image of the whales, having two of them in the frame is a nice bonus. The way the one fin is extended also adds interest. The whales are sharp with just a little blur in the water works well. Overall an awesome image. I will be traveling at the invitation and expense of my daughter to Sitka, Alaska in April to photograph humpback whales bubble net fishing so am very excited for that. Bruce |

Thanks everyone for your comments, I have included another view for your comment. Just for your information, while I was photographing the birds a large herd of Pronghorn antelope wandered by. Bruce |

Jerry, nothing ventured nothing gained. With digital it is always worth trying. For me the lack of contrast between the bird and the background could be increased and make the bird stand out more. Bruce |
