Hey Ron, Your image make you wonder what is the result of the swing, did he hit the ball, what was the result of the action? Todays cameras make getting sharp images pretty easy. I shot 14,000 images my first time out with the new Canon R-3 and only 2 were not sharp. Pretty soon there will be no need for a human. |

Hans, nice image showing the action of the hockey game. The blue turf makes the players stand out. Players are sharp and colorful. Well done. Bruce |

Hey Chris, very nice image of the wolf. Leaving some of the muted color adds interest to the scene, especially the eyes, The crop is great putting the eyes right in the power spot. Very nice image. Bruce |

Wow Barbara, I have seen many bears in the wild and have never felt threatened but chance encounters are always scary. You got it in some nice light with good pose. I am glad you were safe. Bruce |

Isaac, an interesting bird with a weird name. The birds are great , very sharp and well exposed and I like the square crop. The busy background makes it difficult to separate from the birds but overall a nice images. bruce |

Adrian, I like your choice to crop out the extra bird. All the birds have a fish making them more interesting. I have never seen puffins in the wild and would really like to see them some day. Bruce |

Hey Maria, you posted a very nice image of the fox. Interesting that my subject this month is also foxes. I can not suggest anything to improve on it since in my opinion it is nearly perfect. Bruce |

Thank you so much Barbara, I appreciate your kind words. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to photograph so many fantastic species including lions, cheetahs, black bears, grizzly bears, foxes, elk, bison, many bird varieties and many more. I only with I had been more experience and knowledge when I began since many of my images were once in a lifetime but ruined by lack of knowing what I was doing. Bruce |

You have captured an image that is on my bucket list. I have been to Africa several times but have never been able to get an image of a Bee Eater. To get two in the same frame is awesome, Bruce |

Sanat, I love the subjects, the pose and the interaction. I believe it could be much more powerful image with a lower perspective, which would also blur out much of the background. I know it is not easy to get down on your stomach but if possible it really makes a difference. I have added a photo showing how the low perspective appears making the depth of field much narrower. Overall a very nice image. Bruce |

Jerry, Thanks for your comment, I love going to the Alligator Farm and have several favorite spots that offer a good perch with good light and several birds coming in often. I have tried with not much success to get rid of the branch. Bruce |
