Ronald, I am with Isaac and know nothing about cricket. I have no idea what is going on. It is hard to comment on it if I do not know what I am looking at. Bruce |

Hey Don, I love your image this month, all three players add to it. I like your composition showing the net and crossbar. All three players are showing good skill, especially the shooter. Perhaps a bit on contrast would make the players stand out a bit. Well done. Bruce |

Hey Gerald, You are the basketball master and show another nice image. I have to go with the others and vote for the original as well. I like the body language in that one better. I also like the faces of the players on the bench. Bruce |

Hey Hans, my first look at the image made me wonder what your are trying to show. Your comments made the image very interesting to me being in the over 70 category myself. Thanks for sharing this. Bruce |

Maria, A cute image that is sharp, well exposed with a blurred non distracting background. I agree with Isaac that the tight crop that eliminates most of the distracting limbs.

Hey Isaac, Good information on why the zebras are biting each other. I only had a few occasions to photograph zebras on my safari and found it difficult to get a clear shot without others in the way. I would like to see more of the head of the one on the right, perhaps if you were using Canon gear you could have got them rearing on their hind legs fighting (ha ha).. Bruce |

Thanks Isaac, as always you have pointed out thing is miss. Now that you pointed it out I do notice that the head is not the normal grey shade and your added light does improve the details. Thanks for the hints. Bruce |

Adrian, You have a great variety of subjects making your posts very interesting each month. You caught peak action and cropped it just right. It does appear a bit soft, perhaps the shutter speed could have been a bit higher to freeze the fast moving dolphin. Bruce |

Hey Barbara, Happy new year, I hope you have a great 2024. Your image is very sharp, well exposed, clean background and tells a nice story of the interaction between the two kangaroos. It would be stronger if you could see the face of the second kangaroo, but sometimes you have to take what you can get. Bruce |

Cindy I like your idea of butts up, it is to bad the front one did not cooperate. the water color is great, birds are nice and sharp. I might suggest at 16x9 crop to reduce the amount of the image that is not adding much interest. As always it is your vision and choice, just a thought. Bruce |

Hey Jerry, I do get Blue Jays Occasionally, but have five to seven stellar's jays that love peanuts and come every day. They are a blast to photograph and you don't get to do it every day from your own deck and back yard. I find peanuts several blocks away sometimes when I walk the neighborhood. Good job on exposing with the white snow. I find the bird on the left to be a bit soft so ran it through Topaz Labs AI sharpen which does a great job of making things sharp. Happy new year, I hope it is a great one for you. Bruce |
