Gerry, Interesting choices from the others with wide variety selection for the best. All three are strong in my opinion but will go with the original since all players are more involved in the action. Bruce |

Hey Kerry, I love Ronald's description of the what rugby is all about. I have played a few soccer(football) games in similar conditions and it really makes it fun to play. Hard of the seat covers on the way home though. I like everything about your image except the cars in the background but sometimes it is worth the distraction to see the action. Well done. Bruce |

Wow Isaac, I love how your image shows the definition of the muscles and hair. I agree with Hans about the background waves. Bruce |

Ronald, I also like to include spectators in my images especially when they have interesting looks on their faces. Our rodeo has much lower fences and photographers are allowed to sit on the ground in front of spectators so we can eliminate the fence. It can be pretty frightening when the animals are running next to the fence on even bump into it when you are sitting right next to it. The rider is about to have a hard fall and would be a nice if you could crop tighter. Bruce |

Hans, You low perspective adds to the impact of this image. Agree with others regarding seeing both riders faces and the flying dirt. Well done. Bruce |

Hey Adrian, Bufflehead ducks are very common here in Washington State so have many images of them. Maria did a good job with the water. You nailed the eye and have a nice reflection. Bruce |

Barbara, I have also had the opportunity to capture feeding time at the Alligator Farm. I also have seen the unfortunate fate of egrets that fall onto the ground or in the water. It is an amazing place to photograph . The light on the alligators is nice and also like what Maria did with you image. Bruce |

Maria, a beautiful image with great detail and a perfect pose to capture the beauty of this bird. On my computer the eye looks quick dark and hard to see any detail so provided an edit with a little dodging of the mid tones and highlights plus a slight bit of saturation for your consideration. Very will done. Bruce |

Hey Michael, Thanks for the nice comments, I was sitting on the shore using m 800 mm lens which gives the effect of being very low. I like to shoot at this location because the ducks swim towards you preparing to take off to another section of the pond giving many opps to catch them taking of straight at you from the low angle.
