Hey Hans, I like your low perspective on this one. It really shows the drama of what is going on. I can see how difficult it must be to find the right location even without restrictions from the competition. as Ronald said it would be better with the whole second rider was in the frame but you can not chose what will present itself in sports photography. I always like to see the face of the subject if possible as well, but not possible with this one. Bruce |

Gerry, what a cool image showing a lighter side of sports and the joy that it brings to all ages. Bruce |

Kerry, an interesting take on sports, I think I like the color version better for this one. The image shows how difficult this profession must be. Bruce |

Ronald, Keep your eyes on the ball as they say. I to like the hand in the frame, it adds to the interest of what is happening or about to happen. The expressions on the faces of the players each tell a story. Bruce |

Isaac, a really interesting image which makes the viewer feel like he/she is part of the action because you can see the faces of all the subjects. The colors are vibrant and even show up in the spectators. You have a real winner with this one. The bonus images are both winners as well. What an experience you must have had. Bruce |

Marie, The Palouse is a world class photography location with the rolling green hills covered with green wheat, or yellow Canola also featuring red painted barns and buildings. Let me know if your ever want to visit thee and I will send you a PDF with directions and descriptions of many favorite locations. Bruce |

Thanks Barbara, after reading the comments I took a closer look and decided to try to eliminate some of the bright sky at the top. Bruce |

Thanks Maria, I Have many images showing the green rolling hills without the sky, so when I saw these rays it added an extra highlight for me. After your comments, I tried a crop that eliminated the bright sky but still kept the rays. This area is huge with many interesting red painted barns made even more dramatic by the surrounding hills of green, golden in the fall, or even snow in the winter. Bruce |

Marie, Your image is sharp and well exposed with good detail. I love Maria's post about the unpredictable flight behavior. After many attempts I still do not have decent image of a Swallow. They do not seem to land in trees to get a better perch. Bruce |

Barbara I agree with the others comments and really like what Isaac did with it. This version focuses your eye on the butterfly and way from the bright white flowers. Bruce |

Hey Mary, I also agree with the others that even if you had not got any images, it must be an amazing experience to be below the surface. I can not dive due to ear problems so can not experience this. I think I like your original version because the light rays are more visible. I would like to see this image larger to get the full view. Bruce |

Isaac, Agree the background is pretty busy and bright, Maria did a nice job with that. I having been to ST Augustine many times, I know how hard it is to get all the subjects looking the same direction. My only nit is I would like to see a little more space between the top of the frame and the mothers back. You could always enter it in PID division which is what I do with rodeo images so I can clone or adjust a needed. Bruce |

Maria, Oystercatchers are one of my favorite birds since they are so pretty. The crab adds to the interest of your image showing as you said some behavior. I cropped your image to eliminate some of the negative space that to me did not add anything to it. Looking forward to more of your images. Bruce |
