Thanks Hans, you are correct, the two players alone make a stronger sports image. I seem to like seeing the supporting players and their reactions in my images even though they take away from the overall impact of the scene. Bruce |

Gerald, I agree with Hans that your image show have good chance of acceptance in PJ or in PID. The two bikers looking at you are great, There is good separation of the major elements, even wheels are lined up well. I would like to see a little more at the top, but as Hans mentioned there must be distraction elements there. Bruce |

Hans, I really like this image. Your shutter speed leaves enough details to keep interest in what is going on yet still get the effect of the blur. You have an interesting mix of subjects on your posts. My Son Hans is here from Fankfurt to get this second covid vaccination. I it nice to see him after two years since we can not visit Germany now. Mary, this is what an artist can do with an ordinary image. Well done. Bruce |

Adrian, Grebes are one of my favorite birds to photograph, with their red eyes and crest feathers. I do not care for the water fall which is causing mist and water drops and mist around the body of the bird. Good job of eliminating the net. Bruce |

Isaac, you are lucky to have the opportunity to witness this. The story adds a lot to the image. The strong light made it difficult to make the best image quality, but the subject demands a close look. I like the original three with the trainer included. Bruce |

Marie, it is pretty hard to make a Turkey Vulture look good. Considering the large crop you got good details in the feathers which are quite intricate. I just spent a week in Texas and another week in Florida where both Turkey vultures and black buzzards are numerous Bruce |

Walt, As usual, another really nice image. Isaac has noted some good points to make your image even better and really like his crop which eliminates the distraction elements and focuses on the main subject well. Bruce |

Randy, Sorry this is not my favorite of your posts. To my eye the background is not blurred enough to not be distracting and the bird is not sharp enough. I do not want to be a negator, but just my take. If you are teaching a class on the subject, you know more than I do but just my honest view which may or may not have any merit. I do know how hard it is to use this technique, and have not been able to produce a good result am not an really qualified to comment. Bruce By the way, I had a great time in Texas, no real wildflowers, rained every day, but got plenty of birds. |
