Hi Gerry, I am in agreement with Hans' comments, Much of the detail of he surfers in in shadow and the large crop still does not really highlight them. Bruce |

Hello Hans, I agree with your points especially the facial expression and the water streaming off his hand. The white in his eye draws you in. I am happy that I got my second covid vaccine today and hope that things can open up soon. Bruce |

Thanks Adrian, I appreciate your comments. I am looking at your flipped version and the one on my wall and really like it flipped. The one on my wall is a portrait format and really like that as well. Bruce |

Randy, Thanks for your comment, The print in my family room is actually a portrait so I must agree with you. I am coming to Texas in mid April Starting in Austin for flowers and then on to Edinburg for Santa Clara and Lagoona Seca Ranch for birds. Bruce |

Hi Mary, I actually like the steam especially the hint of the blue water in the pool you can see through it. Having been there several times I really enjoy seeing this image. Your PP makes the image pop and colors are very nice. Bruce |

Randy, Beautiful colors, textures and designs in your image. I took the photo tour along with my brother about 10 years ago. My brother came close to starting the Indian rebellion when our guide (Carol Big Thumb) told us we had to move on to make room for a regular tour group. Carol was so mad that he told us he would take us the rest of the way through, but would not make any comments or guidance It is an awesome place and wish I would have had more experience in photography then.

Isaac, It was of this little guy to stand on a bump then give such a nice pose, I would love to go to Iceland some time but most likely will miss that chance. Your PP brought out the color in the sky and bird nicely. You composition is just right. I might try to add a little texture in PS or Topaz to the feathers if possible. Bruce |

Hi Adrian, I like your second version better. My only suggestions would have been in your composition as you took the shot. My eye would like to see a little more of what is beyond the right edge of the frame and for me there is not enough of interest to include such a long section of the sloping ridge so a slight rotation of the camera to the right might include more. Still a really nice image and not being there to see it I could be way off. Bruce |

Isaac, Thanks for your comments, they are the kind of information I need since I seem to overlook small details such as the catch light, The photo in my house is cropped as a vertical and that eliminates any negative space. Sorry about not sizing correctly will try to remember next time. Bruce |

Hi Marie, As Isaac said a very nice image from a huge crop. You have made a simple plain subject look good. My only suggestion would be a square crop to eliminate some of the long branch it is perched on. Bruce |

Wow Walt, what a fantastic image. I don't care for the B&W image, for me the color is part of what makes it a great image. The little bit of a sunflower that pokes into the lower left distracts me a bit but very Well done. Bruce |
