Gerald, I like the tight crop because it really shows close up action of the rider, and cycle. I do agree with Hans that a little more space on the right and left of the frame would be nice. It is really sharp in the important places and the red cycle really draws you into the image. The way the rider is leaning is interesting as well as is the reflection in the face shield. Would not be surprised to get a good report card on this one. Bruce |

Dan, way to make lemonade from lemons. Very interesting image. The reflecting light on the players makes them stand out and the darkness in the background isolate them. Well done. Bruce |

Hans, this is crazy, I have seen elephants playing football but never cycles. What a way to spend a Sunday. Bruce |

Adrian, My family had a summer home 25 miles from West Yellowstone when I was growing up, so have been there many times but never made it to the bear and wolf place. I have been to Yellowstone many many times but never had to luck to see a wolf closer than hundreds of yards away. I did have a wolf come play with us in Katmai Alaska and was within 10 yards of us for a long time. It was trying to steal our camera bags and nipped at them and would run away. I like how the wolf is looking right at you and the carcass adds interest as well. Your crop is just right. Well done on this one. Bruce |

Walt, I like your creativity in this one. The image is really dark on my monitor. I have seen many photographs from this wreck but never one at night. Really cool image, would like to see one with no moon to block the stars. Bruce |

Randy, Lucky you to witness this. I was in Yellowstone and the Tetons around the last of September and missed seeing bear 399 by a few minutes before she went into the woods. Your image looks really soft on my monitor, probably due to the large crop. You were lucky to capture a great moment with the cub nursing. There were so many people in Yellowstone that it was difficult to get around. Bruce |

Isaac, You have a similar image as me using a 16-35 lens. This is an iconic location that I understand has been overrun with tourists including making a large parking lot and charging for parking. Your image appears to be taken in pretty harsh light. I think I would prefer to crop out the sky right at the horizon. Bruce |

Marie, Another really nice image. Really nice especially for such a large crop. Bruce |
