Diane, Really nice action shot. You have remarkable clarity for indoor gym lighting. The exit sign and ref arm do not bother me that much since they are so small in the frame, but of course it would be better without them. Gerald has a great eye for details that I often miss. Well done. Bruce |

Diane, I cropped you image and came up with the exact same image as Gerry. You are really getting the hang of it though. In my opinion this is your best image yet. I see that you had a low position making the players look bigger and more imposing. Gerry mentioned getting the sky out by being higher, but sometimes you have to chose the best of two option. You got great action and everything is technically good. Well done. Bruce |

Gerry, I like the landscape view because it shows the dramatic scene of what is going on. I do not enter many competitions so am not the best judge of what is acceptable. Bruce |

Karl I agree with the others, that the faces make the image. I do like the crop eliminating the top. Bruce |

Phil, I really like your image. A lot goes on at sports events that are just as interesting as the event it self. I do like the crop because it is makes the image more focused on the ceremony. Bruce |

Issac, I prefer your first crop without the large tree included. The nesting branches in front of the female stop it from being a winner for me. I have a trip booked to Florida on April 15, but does not look like it is going to happen. Not sure what happened to my image for March. I sent it on March 2. The image was of a burrowing owl. Adrian, You captured a great scene here with every size from large to tiny. My only suggestion is to Crop the top off to eliminate the sky, I know it is a tight fit, but think you could do it. Bruce |

Marie, I agree with the others regarding the composition. A mallard is a very common bird and needs to be doing something interesting to make it stand out. You have good light and exposure there is not anything to make me look at a mallard and say wow. Perhaps if it were taking off, preening, or bathing it would help get attention. Bruce |

Walt, nice subject especially with the flowers in the foreground. I agree with Mary about brightening it up a little. It seems that many of the details are hidden in the shadows. Bruce |

Mary, another beautiful image, with a lot of interesting things to look at. The patchwork of farms all have nice textures and the clouds on the left at very dramatic. |

Your image is well exposed sharp and an interesting subject. I agree with everyones comments and adjustments. The cluttered background is way to distracting and only a lower perspective would help that. |
