72 Nov 19 Comment Isaac, I can attest that this is not an easy image to get. Although there were quite a few nests, with babies, they all seem to be obstructed. The number of photographers there also made it difficult to get a good spot. I was really surprised to see you there. Bruce Nov 12th

72 Nov 19 Comment Walt, Really nice image from Arches. I am heading there in early December and hope a get such a nice image. Your composition with a nice depth created by the foreground, mid and background. The dark sky adds some drama to the image as well. Bruce Nov 12th
72 Nov 19 Comment Marie, I really like this image, even though it is not on the topic for the group. I the bright colors, leading lines and subject all make for a great image. I like your crop, although I would like to see just a little more space in the top. To my eye, the bright colors converging with the top of the frame, lead my eye out of the image. Just a thought. 72 Nov 19 Reply Thanks very much Mary, I was only about 6-8 feet away from the eagle sitting in my car. The eagle lady had a compound which was an RV park in the summer at Homer Alaska. She would allow you to photograph from your car if you parked in the spaces for RV's. This eagle was sitting on a post with the hook up electricity and I was able to back my car into the space and the eagles are used to having people around so did not fly away. Her name was Jean Keane and unfortunately she passed ways shortly after I took this image. She would really bawl you out if you got out of your car. She would allow you to come into her compound if you helped her prepare the hundreds of pounds of fish she fed to the eagles every day. Nov 12th
