Isaac, great subjects with the baby under the mom. I like what you did in pp. Perhaps a little to much saturation to my eye but it could just be my monitor. I have been to Thailand four times and it is one of my favorite places to visit, especially the interaction with the elephants. My first safari on elephant back I shot all of my photos without a CF card. Learned a hard lesson that day. bruce |

Mary, My only suggestion is that even though the clouds are interesting, there is so much sky that it distracts from the subject of the dunes. I might try to crop some of the sky out. A larger image my appear better because you could see the dunes better. Bruce |

Marie, Welcome to the nature study group, I hope you enjoy it. I like your image and agree with Isaac about the crop. My crop added even more of the environment plus left room for the bird to move in the frame. I one step using the de haze filter in photoshop seemed to accomplish most of the the steps you took in lightroom, plus I sharpened it a bit just to see if it would pop more. Bruce |

Adrian, Well done on this image of Mt Moran from Oxbow Bend. I have been there many times and grew up 90 miles from there in Idaho Falls. You were lucky to get the nice image you did since there is normally heavy smoke due to control fires set by officials. I like the composition and especially the placement of the reflection of Mt Moran. Fall colors are great. You were also lucky to get a position since there are so many photographers there this time of year. Bruce |

Walt, Very nice image at Paradise. I agree with Walt on everything however I do like toe painterly effect. I could only find one face which is really cool. Well done as usual.
