Ahmed, you have something that I will never have in my photography, creativity. I really like your work. The use of the dark and light really makes for an impressive image. I like the position of the racket since it makes a straight line leading my eye right through the whole image. Your use of the light also helps lead the eye through the image. Well done again. Gerald, This is a really powerful image, especially with you low perspective. Not to many sport images taken with 17-40 lens, I got a similar effect using my 16-35 next to the goal in some soccer images. The eye contact with the two riders also adds interest. Well done. Bruce |

Ed, I am torn between this is a really cool image and a really busy background. It is like there are two subjects and my eye is pulled between them. If you like it , then it is great. Nice eye for creativity. Bruce |

Joseph, I have not tried to photograph volleyball before but can see that it must be difficult with poor lighting, distraction backgrounds, players facing away, etc. The image is technically good, but I am finding it difficult to focus on a subject, since the two defenders are facing away, and players who spiked the ball is small and out of focus with a large white wall behind her. I tried a different crop not sure if it is worth trying, but there is many times a picture in a picture. Bruce |

Walt, The reason there is not a lot of detail in the bird is that they are very smooth, thus the name Waxwing. Thanks for the comment, bruce |

Adrian, nice sharp bird, but agree with Isaac that the background really distracts from the subject. The flower just below the tongue is very bright so you might tone it down. I like Isaac's crop since it does eliminate a lot of the busy background. Bruce |

Kent, I like the changes Isaac made, the original shows that they were really close to the shore which I have never seen before. Nice capture. Bruce |

Walt, amazing sharpness through out using the stacking technique. I have not tried this before but would like to some time. I like the dark background and you have good exposure. I might like to see a little more of the flower. Bruce |

Thanks Isaac, I did not have to do much to this image, I was able to set up my tripod on the sidewalk and the waxwings would come in to get the berries then fly back to a tree top. The green background is the grass under the tree. This year we had more than 100 robins come and stripe the bush of the berries before the waxwings arrived so did not get any. |

Isaac, one of my favorite birds to photograph, in fact on April 20th,I am heading to Florida including FT. Desoto. I have been able to get into the water with the redish egrets at FT Desoto while they fish around me. You got great action and pose in this one. Well done. Bruce |
