Wow Gerald, that is a great image. Yes it is difficult to pick out the shooter, but there is enough going on besides to hold the viewer long enough to see him. There does not seem to be a way to crop in any closer to draw attention to him without spoiling the composition. Certainly acceptable for a sports exhibition. Bruce |

Great image Karl, I would enter as either, sport seems appropriate however since he is not on the cycle, open might do better. My sister lost a leg riding her Harley at age 65 so understand some of the challenges. Bruce |

Hi Phil, You captured a peak moment and the image is technically good. I know it is not easy with the equipment on but would like to see some of their facial expressions. I am having a difficult time seeing that the goalie made a save and assume that the puck is the black circle along the leg pad. Sorry to show my hockey ignorance, but not to many hockey players in Washington. Bruce |

Mary, It is great what you were able to do in ACR to bring out the details in the darks. The final image turned out very well. Bruce |

Isaac, I really like photographing Osprey's although the seem to be a real challenge for me. I had the opportunity to photograph them at Blue Cypress Lake in Florida which is known for it's great number of Osprey nests. Many of the big name photographers do workshops there. You got great wing and talon position and the image seems to be nice and sharp. I like having the nest in the frame, however the branches on the left are a bit distracting. Overall a nice image. Adrian, I visited Costa Rica three years ago but was not lucky enough to see a sloth. I can see why you would take pleasure in the image. You have been able to get some detail in the face under difficult conditions with bright sky in the background. I you have enough resolution I might suggest a little more crop off the bottom, since the bright light does add to the interest and a tighter crop will focus more on the sloth. Thanks for sharing, Bruce |

Kent, Lucky timing to get the otter at the same place and time as the bird. Don't want to be to critical but PP just did not bring out the details for me in this one. The side lighting made it hard to have the shadows work and yet still have the whites as well. The light seems pretty harsh for being 8:30. I hope you do not think I am being to difficult, Bruce |

Walt, another really good image this month, There are a lot of things that I really like including the clouds, the surf,
the ruff water in the middle, the rocks and the well itself. You have done a very good job in post processing and perfect shutter speed to blur the water going into the well. An a+ on this one. Bruce |

Abhijeet, you certainly have some interesting subjects to photograph. You got some good action in this image and I like the wing positions and even the open bill on the top duck. They are sharp and composition is good although it would be nice if the wing on the top bird was not clipped and had a little more room to move into. Bruce |
