Thanks. I worked on that space - it could be all sky perhaps. |

I think placing a contemporary figure in the scene suddenly makes the ancient Greek figures beautiful, fascinating and almost real. Second impressions are on the abrupt transition through two millennia allowing the imagination to consider a secular change in body composition with or without arms. |

Really great result - it seems you know the territory including optimal season, timing and precise placement of the surfer for lighting and contrast. It's amazing how well he is silhouetted possibly because of his wetsuit. Did you get a shot of him surfing? I'm asking because it looks very shallow for good waves but I'm sure you were successful. |

Brilliant blending of effects of color with matching or complimentary background as well as bidirectional use of lighting. To get the motion I wonder if you kicked the table to synchronize with the shutter release! but curious to know how you did it. In selecting 1/200 had you considered slower shutter speeds to possibly get the water wave in the glass to be less stiff? |

A strong WOW factor for this very handsome hawk. It's so interesting that there is a mate in the original which makes me think that you have a great shot of the pair with a different crop. The creamy background from the rolling hills is a plus but I would even add more of it at the top perhaps giving the hawk some room and sense of the expansive environment. |

A masterpiece!!! Great overall judgement in ending up with a true wall-hanger. I have been pushing low light limits lately and find the new auto-ISO function to be useful after having rejected it - but with new denoising capacity it seems to make sense when shutter speed or DOF is set as the priority - but not sure where to set the ISO limits yet. But that could be sensor specific, however 20,000 is impressive! |

Thanks for the suggestion. I have one with something like that in mind but wish I had been closer to the ground. |

Thanks Karen. It makes me think I should look into calibrating my monitor? |
