Thanks for your comments. I thought part of the attraction was the tallness but there were space constraints in stepping back. I might go back and try a vertical pano with a processed faded background. |

Great idea to go high key, however I think to go that way it requires intent in the first place - preferably with a tripod and an arranged background. I tried that recently in a scavenger hunt and won that section. However, I like the look you have given it and don't yet have the photoshop expertise. I might go back there with a wider angled lens and rethink it. |

Thank-you Shirley. There was a problem with not being able to step back from the narrow path to include more of the bract sequence It did cross my mind to edit as you suggest, but I baulked at the idea because of what it would take. Anyway here is an attempt using a combination of content aware, lasso tool, free transform with copy and paste, clone stamp and paint brush. I could also use the revised version to go with high key as Jim suggests. |

Great image. I agree with Jim. Try using the effects sliders - just a little use of the clarity and texture sliders might do it, but watch out for inducing noise and artefacts in the background which can be managed I think. |

WOW! I agree the second image does have more context to imply story. Because it's so unbelievable what these folks can do the addition of a second rider makes it more plausible somehow. |

The compositional element seems to be mainly repeated spheres and circles as opposed to leading lines except for the cloth which is contributing to a great result. I found I tend to overcrowd the arrangement and agree with comments to downsize. I understand the choice to use f/4.0 but the bottle does seem too soft - did you consider stopping down? Also I would show more of the curves on the cutting board and perhaps even a round of cheese with fewer slices, but at least two bottles of beer! |

Great angle and capture! I hope it was a safe spot! I like the dropped in sky and distant skyline but agree with Karen that it comes on a bit too strong. The main lighting on the bridge appears to be behind you and to the left making the sunset unsynchronized with the light source. Desaturating could help but not sure. Perhaps a more uniform sky choice would help. |

Very challenging and interesting image. Amazing that you exposed for 20 seconds at such a high ISO. It looks as if the wind was blowing against you to get the clouds splayed out like that. I think I agree with Martin about lightening the foreground but maybe not quite that much because there does not seem to be enough of a light source. |
