It was a late evening shot with shadows in the background. Then using the background mask in CR/Lightroom I reduced exposure till black.
I played with the f-stop depending on distance from the subject. |

I like the idea but I still feel it lacks a point of interest. I would try changing to a much darker sky with bright spots and then leave bright points around the church tower and create relatively dark areas laterally to lead to the tower. The intention would be to promote a third and dynamic dimension to the imaage. |

The joy and humor in the "story" make an immediate impact. Plus it is strengthened by strong compositional elements and complimenting colors. The mirrored image has more strength because of the eyes and facial lines. In contrast her own posture with slanting lines contribute. Did you consider a horizontal flip to give more of an active and central role for the presenter. |

Congrats on mastering the front and back lighting resulting in catchlight and backlit rim on the fur. The surface is intriguing and appears to be asphalt (tarmacadam). I support the fox's comeback in the UK as being a good thing but hopefully backed up by management and conservation. |

You have captured great historical interest with the church tower as a possible center of interest, however I am finding it difficult to find it because there is too much elsewhere in the image without strong leading lines. I suggest trying a tight crop showing only the church and castle. In retrospect I think getting close and going wide might have got it? |

Unique capture! It has a windy look and interesting shades of green. Our club a bit west of you, came up with a mixed bag - some with an ethereal look through gaps in the clouds located in south-east Oklahoma. |

Beautiful birds and great capture!. I agree with more space at the left and top but not sure how much - based on the original, taking up the lower left corner slightly could be enough.
