The effect of the reflector on facial expression is striking but the hat is slightly too bright. I think cropping down a bit on the hat and above the buttons from below gives better facial and eye expression. Did you consider black and white conversion? |

Congratulations on a dramatic historical image showing what canon fire was like. I feel sorry for the man in uniform having to stand close without ear protection. Brilliant selection of shutter-speed and timing of the burst! You included 5 canons in compliance with the rule of odds, but wonder if there were more? |

Great capture and illustration of how watching and waiting pays off. Beginning with the original it's a bit dark but it probably was dark. I don't see a way to increase exposure other than brushing some light in on the turquoise coat. Your beginning ISO could possibly have doubled but as you know is camera and sensor-dependent. The eyes show very well and serve to make the image and contribute to the expression. |

Great contrast between the old and new buildings and interesting use of the blacks slider for a great result. The sky is just right. The blues are strikingly effective so I probably would not go black and white; but if you did you might have to use adjustments to decrease shadows but accentuate blacks and whites. |

The difference to the original is very interesting and a dramatic improvement giving the log more credence as the topic. The leaves are a good contrast, except the first yellow one is a bit blown out. You could possibly clone in some yellow. There is light to dark gradient from front to back but I suggest more vignette for effect. |

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. The reflection is a circular sticker, presumably the original. Although I did decrease the brightness of the windshield but it could be reduced more and the sticker taken out. Yes I can send them a print perhaps. It's interesting that the group does assignments all over the country, so quite a vigorous travel schedule! |
