Thanks for your interesting response. It proves to me that knowing your subject is an important part of photography! I stand corrected. |

Good humorous story!!! Nice frame within a frame to bring it out. I agree that original 2 has some interest but the spike is not helping at all, and Settimo appears to be looking down with disdain. |

Nice dramatic pose and use of lines! A masterpiece of dark and light shadows. Martin had a similar concept a few months ago done as a self-portrait and well-preplanned. I am wondering if the cigarette being unlit adds to the story and adds to the impression of urgency. The eye-expression certainly does. |

I attribute the impressive impact to your compositional elements such as the diagonal and the reflected drop triplet. The negative space with the origin of the reflection above is effective. Had you considered vigneting the edges to match the right lower corner and possibly taking out the gray triangle? |

Nice shot with effective post-processing. The complementary blue and gold with the red line receding into the distance is impressive. The blue is slightly overdone for saturation I think. |

Dramatic pirate picture!!! There is a triangle with the base as the stiped sash going up to the eye. He seems to be leaning backwards so I would use the geometry tool and also use the CR mask and clarity/texture sliders to blur the water, but I would darken the water, add a vignette and a 9 pixel stroke. |

While taking the photo I was not paying attention to the orange car but was impressed by the size of the engine and sense of power, and so tried to shoot from a low angle and crop accordingly. I get your point though. |
