Yes available light. When I increased the ISO to 2000 the shutter speed was 1/8th second, perhaps enough to rely on in-body and lens stabilization. A tripod or flash might have been OK with the shop manager but not sure. |

Great image with story and human interest, but I see it more as an exceptional composition with repeat elements. So I would consider edits for pictorial competition such as cloning out the blue pipe at the back, the disorder above the blue light and some white spots. But strong image as is. |

It's a strong image with color, contrast and perfect choice of settings and composition allowing space to move into. The gray horse is a strong point possibly because of contrast. I'm not sure if the middle horse should be the point of the title, but good idea since he is in third place and slipping back. |

I agree with Shirley. I learnt in a recent PSA course that flipping is also helpful, so I tried it. Your choice is best, but a vertical flip without the little triangle on the upper diagonal works and lowering exposure slightly brings out tonal variation but partial exposure changes could be good. A border as a 6 pixel stroke can be effective and a title of some sort can help to convey impression on the presentation. |
