On first viewing the images I preferred the black and white version but not sure why - it could be that the bar above the head is subdued. Standing over your table explains the aspect and why he is looking down on you but lighting on face and hair makes the image. |

Great capture of this fast moving bird and accentuated by the flip to give it more direction. I tried to ID it but came up short - do you know? |

My eye starts at the base with the pews and moves upwards making your intentional aspect of the pointing diagonals give a spiritual sense of place. The corrected version becomes correct but harsh. Also the pale green background is affective. |

It's interesting that bringing out the colors in the tree bark actually matched the sea-scape and I think enhanced the design. You could argue for cropping to rule of thirds for the water-line against the mountains, but I would leave as is. I like the way the eye is drawn in a zigzag beginning from the bottom right. |
