The focal length was 321mm and I was about 20 feet away. The wings were close together so I was lucky to get focus with the 4.5 to 5.6L lens. I use spot focus and try to get the eye and body but no longer have than lens having gone mirrorless. |

The image is captivating and has strong and earnest facial expression. I agree that attaining excellence in this altered reality class you need a combination of technique and artistic sense. I think you got it with both. |

Spectacular display of architectural skills of the day, and I think you chose an angle of view that gives a balanced image.
Another way perhaps is use of HDR (using a tripod or platypod). Just 2 or 3 superimposed frames would be enough, but even then the brightness of the windows could be difficult to underexpose. |

Great story behind the shot. The sign on the truck showing "Locally Grown" would make it even better if you had made it more prominent, either by the angle of view or cropping in. But You have carefully crafted the image and it's very good as is. |

I have a bias for panorama, but favor original 2; possibly because of the contrast in shapes and diagonals. For B&W I would go stronger on the contrast by increasing the blacks and whites. |
