Yes. It allows the image to "breathe" I think. Nice rays from the candle! |

An amazing capture under duress! I think it's interesting that you have such a wide dynamic range and think you could use it as a unique aspect of the image by showing the extremes. I'm saying this because I find the original has an awesome impact and something in that direction could also do well in black and white. |

My immediate reaction is that it is an impressive image of a vintage arrangement with originality and compositional strengths. Then I begin to think it's a bit tight - perhaps. The candle seems too close and the top of the ferns could be included. Overall you could use more negative space. |

Thanks. I meant to say that it was preplanned in that I had a large lens and extender on a tripod and was waiting for things to happen among a group of birds, so the image was selected from a burst. |

Thanks. In Topaz Denoise AI the settings were 25, 26, 22, and O for remove noise, enhance sharpness, recover original detail and color noise reduction. I agree it can be overdone. |

Thanks. I like the idea but then find the bird needs more space to move in. |

Very impactful in first seconds of viewing!! Superb planning and use of parallel lines and contrasting cigarette at a diagonal. They are obviously out to get you! |

Superb shot! I think it's a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird. The branch could be slightly darker I think, and wondered if the mask picked up the branch when you lightened. I like the negative space, which you could even extend up a little since the beak points that way. |

Thanks for such an informative image. Presumably you masked in the moon from a separate exposure - and the result is great considering it was 9.30pm according to the clock. Overall the image is very busy to make an initial impact and it lacks compositional leads, but as I studied it with your guidance it becomes most intriguing. |
