Thanks for the comments. I don't know, but it seems home-made judging by the diverse components of the harness, and put together by a serious man intent on getting from A to B.
I found the Nikon had 18 mp with 2400x1900 pixels on the original JPG, but not enough to bring out much more detail. I have redone the image based on what you suggest and agree the increase in warming is only a subtle difference to cocoa using Topaz. I could not bring out detail in the horse's eye. The mouth has pigmentation perhaps adding uniqueness.
Central Exeter is an ancient walled city and this was close to the wall making me think he had travelled in from the countryside, because keeping horses in the city seems unlikely. I will ask my nephew who lives there. |

Great blending of images to get to the final. I like the concept of the stage background. However, I'm not quite sold on the audience's heads being turned away since it detracts from impact. I think it would be more realistic to put them more in the dark.

The impact is great - an immediate wow factor!!!. The sky is a bit grainy but that appears intentional and has a pleasing effect. Your handling of the light on the buildings is impressive. However, I am puzzled by the strip at the base of the water, which is also in the original. It doesn't seem to blend well and the bright rectangle in the left lower part of the image appears odd. I'm not sure how to handle it other than by cloning and masking in new water. |

Spectacular action shot! I'm impressed with the beak and legs tipping the water and the submerged left wing. You do have detail in the wings (not blown out), and I think they would show better with reducing highlights by about 50 and whites by 20 or so. I would crop down by taking out the first splash and leaving 1/3 space in front and more above for direction and also emphasis on the yellow feet. I would go closer to the original blue for the water, but your rendition is good.
