Thanks. I go there sometimes to try out new equipment - and I'm often surprised at what's there. |

Thanks. I was lucky with the light and predicted path. Piers |

Yes left! sorry about that. Also perhaps less shadow on the front left wood face of the barn would also help.

Thanks.....tried the brush with the fine edge option but not impressed yet. Yes I think the background tone makes a difference. |

Great - he comes across as a steel fixer with humor! Are those the steel bars in the background? |

Good shadow recovery and adjustments - not sure if the foxhunters would agree with cuteness as an asset!, but I like the humane aspect. You captured a unique aspect of the hunting story, however, I think in general the eyes score well with animal capture and serve to bring out character. You have recovered them, but you are hampered for expression by a sort of muting effect of the netting.

That's wonderful - also there some good old barns here in Oklahoma but again difficult to get close without permission.
The sheer size of it is impressive.
Composition-wise I think a bit heavy on the right so I would crop in slightly from the right. Although I like the foreground grass color I think you could tone it down a bit since it detracts from the rest of the image. The grunge is new to me and I like it.

I think you have a great panoramic view dividing vertically into three thirds. With 15 seconds you seem to have captured more of the true effect in the original especially some of the sunset tones in the sky and on the water. I think you could retain more of the tones in post, perhaps with brushing in with exposure and dehaze sliders? |

Very nice capture with "spirit of place" - the narrow strip of waterline is an impressive addition and helps to describe the marsh.
Going higher as Shirley thinks seems a good idea, but for compositional balance I think the vegetation on the right balances the sun, so I would crop in from the right to centralize the tree. |
