Thanks. Yes, but never sure if some of the brightness goes onto the image. It seems to happen with relatively less bright parts of the image. |

Outstanding photojournalism photo with action, drama, and story without being told about it. The cropping appears a bit tight at the top.....so as to possibly put the meaningful facial expressions slightly nearer the middle. |

I agree that it's a winner. Its impressive how the background brings out a 3D look with the water plane looking flat and complementing the flower. Retaining the whites is just right - without a polarizer? |

Great picture and editing. Good to see one resting for a change. Using Kaufman's Field Guide the best fit is a male Ruby-Throated. The throat can be dark like that.

Great picture with encouragement to try it some day. The grey background with a tinge of purple is a great choice. |

Thanks for your comments. My decision to crop on the left was because the sky merged into being quite bright. So my approach to correction, rather than starting over is to use crop - content aware, then because that was incomplete, lasso tool and edit - fill with content aware (x2); then some cloning. A gradient tool may have done it, but I did not save that image. |
