On closer inspection the new background has repeated imagery in the hedge so I might work on cloning from a different hedge for better scoring. Piers |

The crop gives it more balance and gives the s-shaped river more prominence; and the 1/3 sky is better than 1/2. Nice image and welcome to the group. |

Very nice picture. I like the foreground with the asymmetrical fence posts leading to the rustic scene with a great combination of color. The sky might be slightly too saturated with blue. |

Great picture. The cropping from above at about the wood level would help simplify and emphasize the leading figure who gives the party some direction. Also immediate foreground could be cropped slightly. The exposure and whites appear slightly strong. |

Immediately makes an impact with the valve against the transitioning blue metallic background, and the leading lines from the lower right corner are effective. So I would leave as is without cropping. Great detail....great lens. |

The oasis has a great story with the interesting rockery in predominantly bright green contrasting with an intriguing darker jungle in the background. I agree with comments about the bright foreground and would also crop and try to darken it. I'm curious about use of ISO 50......would probably have tried to go for more depth of field than at f/2.8 but don't know the camera or the effect you were going for. |
