The poise and balance of the boat-man is brought out by his having to steer in a loop and avoid the pole giving some story. I don't miss it, but think it is a toss-up as to whether it should go. Outstanding in B&W. |

Interesting to me because rodeos are so popular here in Oklahoma especially among our club members. They also seem to be struggling with background and angle of view to get the winning shot. This one would probably score well , but agree that some of the releasing officials are too prominent. B&W seem to work I think, because it brings out the rider. You could also crop tightly on the rider in B&W |

I agree with Harry's version, leaving a simple image and retaining the interesting background. I might take out the TV towers on the skyline. |

Seems to me the diagonal lines are brought out better with Hung's crop and lead to the bridge entry, so I like it better as a simpler image. |

Nice shade of red and feeling of power with the big engine. The dusty brown background added to a sense of power perhaps, so I would consider blurring. |
