Thanks for the comments. First to Shirley - I had done some selective brightening on the sides and on the train, so I was too underexposed in the first place - but was time-restricted and tripod in the car. Thanks Hung - I like it! - that way the lines lead selectively to the train. |

Nice peaceful scene with plane at the ready. I think the orange plane is the unique focus and blends subtly with some of the orange in the fading trees, however I agree with Shirley that the whites are distracting and would try cloning out the stuff at the back and perhaps the nearest jet ski could be gray like the other one. |

Great picture. The leading lines to the expressive face seems to me what counts, plus the vignetting. Tough problems with noise and spots seem to have been mostly conquered, but perhaps give it an ancient look. |

The combination of the bokeh, great expression with catch-light and wonderful feather coloring make a great picture. Very sad story though! |

Very nice leading lines but agree with comments on the hot spots that delay centering on and finding the female dancer.
A dramatic and patriotic dance scene in a natural and spontaneous setting makes a great picture I think. |

I am impressed by his poise, balance and complete confidence - probably helped by lots of light, fast shutter speed and quite a high ISO. The bright green on the kayak appears to have streaked to the water - have not seen this before but does not seem to upset the overall effect. Also I wonder of you need a polarizer for this sort of photography to ramp down the water reflections? |

I think its amazing what the foreground reflection is doing for the picture and how authentic the Australian scene appears. Its also encouraging to see what a cropped frame camera can do even at f/4 for the background. I wonder if a polarizer would have made a difference, but the effect of post-processing could be enough. For simplicity I might try some cropping at the sides but not sure. |
