27 Mar 26 Reply Snow geese are so overpopulated that there is an unlimited "thinning" season! Go figure. I asked if they were any good to eat. I was told they had to be cooked correctly or they were stringy. I even asked my butcher about it and he said yup, overpopulated. Mar 26th
27 Mar 26 Reply It's just a bad shot. I was trying to get away from the general photo of all those geese in the air or close ups of them on the ground. Probably should have gone with this one instead. Mar 26th
27 Mar 26 Comment South Africa perfect zoom. I think the "object" below the right animal is his paw. I think that's what Jan is seeing. If so, then you might want to brighten up that upper leg so it looks more connected to his paw. Or you might want to bring up all the shadows to get more definition. Golden hour is so much fun.

27 Mar 26 Comment Fun black and white. I think you have captured the "ends" of the ropes that are in the upper left third and hanging down.
I might remove the left bright vent and there is second brad/tack brighter than the others. 		Mar 26th
27 Mar 26 Comment Wow, nice shot. My eye is immediately drawn to the bright gold dome. I might vignette the image to neutralize both smaller buildings. Or I might darken the building on the right to the same as the one on the left so they would balance. Beautiful mosque. Mar 26th
27 Mar 26 Comment oooo, I love how you cropped and edited this. I have no problem with the edges as they add a pathway for me. I also like the editing as the eye follows into the bright area which is framed. I also like the shadows and the right post lighter. If I'd darken anything it would be the second pillar on the left which might be considered a distraction.

27 Mar 26 Reply I KNOW! I had trouble with this subject. Most of the photos of this area are just the geese against the sky so I wanted something with more context. I loved the reflection of the geese but you are oh so right about where to look. I'll try cropping below the hunter. I knew you would help with this. Grr, I can't get this story right. I guess I want the reflections to be the focus. Whelp, maybe just a bad story teller on this one. Mar 11th
