27 Jun 24 Comment Nice bug shot. I might have cropped in a square to emphasize symmetry but it's nice as it is. Love the bokeh colors in the background. His legs and body are sharp with his wings being a little out of focus giving a sense of depth of field. Nicely done. Jun 26th

27 Jun 24 Comment Bummer to hear about your lens but glad you are ok especially while in another country.
Now this is what I call a really punk rock Merry Go Round! Fun. I'm not sure about the best way to capture something of this detail without doing a triptych college of several interesting areas. That would remove the distracting background.
If not that, what about using a background replacement or a radial blur tool? Or you could selectively use color on the Merry Go Round and make the background black and white.
There is a LOT to capture the eye! Fun shot and thanks for taking be to Spain!		 Jun 26th
27 Jun 24 Comment Nice improvement on the second version. Love the crop and the blurring but especially love how the men's facial expressions show the intensity of the play. Nice capture. Jun 26th
27 Jun 24 Comment Wow, looks like you nailed it! The final isolation of the top petals is perfectly done. The vignette and cropping helped focus the eye away from the distracting surrounding elements. I find it interesting that the orange reacted that way when it was converted to low key. Not sure I would have anticipated it being that dark. Cool.
