Yup, that's a flood photo. Hope you were in a boat, on a bridge or on the shore.
The crop gives a sense of the immenseness of the flooding and the black white a sense of dare I say, gloom?
Hope you were able to stay dry while camping. Always an adventure. |

The color is lovely. It truly is a spring in the forest photo.
Seems like it is a "feeling" photo. |

I feel something magical has been lost in the conversion to black and white.
I like the original better. |

I like the richness of the colors. Beautifully captured. They do flow.
I do understand what others are saying.
However, it is your photo. Crop how you like. |

I agree with Jon about the dormers. I like the strong diagonal line of the roof tiles.
I am distracted by the post being taller in the photo than the Spire. My eye goes there instead of the spire.
Glad you could share with us some travel photos! |

ooooh. Love these lines and the black and white.
I like the interplay between the lines of the sculpture and the buildings. It just depends on what you were thinking when you shot it. The sculpture or the interplay.
Definitely like the crop as sky is distracting either way. However, the way Lauren has cropped it makes the right side distracting. Needs to include more of the building on the right I think. Again, is it the sculpture or the interplay of lines and angles? Fun image. |

Will email you some from that series unedited. Yes, the angle is different. I could not get the elements of a still life like I wanted them. Also, light showed up different than I thought.
Background distracting due to screen porch catching the light. Tried to use a linear gradient so that might be why the cup looks bad.
I was not moving fast enough to change settings while Wild Child was on the move.
Thanks for your feedback. |

What about the original? Or should I try to layer over with a sharper cat's head?

I tried selective area refocusing using Topaz sharpen and Luminar Neo. I think it is just not going to sharpen. Unless someone knows how else to do it.
The question is, is this a photo that merits retaking a shot of the cat and layering over the photo?
Orange kitties are the bomb. |
