27 Dec 22 Reply I REALLY do have to get out of Dodge more. Hopefully soon. Dec 23rd
27 Dec 22 Comment Ha ha ha, the dunny! Now I have a new word for outhouse. I like it.
The sky sets the viewer up for a hot, dry and sunny day I think so keep it that beautiful blue.
I would normally say to brighten up the rust but it already seems pretty dramatic. It adds to "the heat" of the day.
Only thing I can think of is maybe erase the stray bare branches at the top of the trees or not.
Is the white ground sand? Very interesting environment. Thanks for sharing.

27 Dec 22 Comment Fun post processing and lucky you to be able to be "in the room where it happened".
Monet is a pastel kinda of guy. These colors are more Van Gogh. To be more authentic, you might want to soften the colors which would tone down that yellows.
Love the pop of red in the upper right hand area and the swan in the upper left hand. Nice inclusion of foreground.

27 Dec 22 Comment I love your B&W adjustment layers and use of curves. High Pass sharp really makes it pop. I gotta learn these adjustments.
The removal of the boat on the right was good. I would include some of the ducks on the ground on the right in the removal.
Just a thought, I might have flipped it so that the eye would move from lower left to midline right and then back along the dock. Or not.
A slight vignette might or might not add.
I love your black and white conversions.

27 Dec 22 Comment Oh dear, I've tried that spray glue thing. Not good so I totally understand your issues. I'm sure having professional printing on gaiter board would have been easier although more expensive.
This is a lovely impactful image. Looks like in camera motion with zooming. Very nicely done.

27 Dec 22 Comment Great lines, lights and shadows. I like the inclusion of the lady which gives perspective to the size of the columns.
I'm not sure if it's the bright spot or the block at the base of the left column that draws my eye there. I do like the inclusion of that column so cropping is not the answer.
Love the texture of the ground.

27 Dec 22 Comment Conversion to black and white really made this photo. The foreground pops now and adds to the story. The sky sets a good mood of this stormy day.
Someone said that the edges should be clear. That said, you might want to erase the umbrella holder on the right edge. Or not.
Great post processing.
