Yup, that's a washed out road. Nicely captured photo and the h the angst it caused.
At first, I thought about making this a portrait to focus on your wife but decided against it. The water is the main subject.
Sorry for your loss. |

I like the reflection captured. Agree with others that there is too much other information in the photo and cropping would help.

What a serendipity moment!
The cropping gal would maybe have gone for a tighter crop and angling the stem to a diagonal. The feather might be placed into the upper left third. But that's me.
This is such a fun, spontaneous moment captured. |

Butterflies are hard to capture in all their colorful movements. This image is very sharp and crisp. Nice capture.
I do see what others are saying about the bright flower. Not sure how you would reduce it. The brightness is added to by the complimentary purple flowers. I think those two flowers would make a nice photo. |

Totally like the background blur. While not my favorite subject, I do appreciate it. I wonder what it would do in Topaz denoise or sharpen. I agree the black and white is nice. I like the dirt kick up and might crop photo to focus more on the right side. I, too, played with it. I ran it through denoise and then that through sharpen...not sure from whence the color came. Denoise attached |
