Oh, well, you mean we have to see the ACTUAL photo. I love it. Thanks for posting your adventure. Not sure I could make it.
Did you take your drone? Are you doing any more drone photos? Whoops, this is a National park so no drone.
This looks like a really rugged to hike. Good job on making it and documenting that you did. I looked it up. It's just about a straight up hike. Ugh. Thanks for sharing an adventure I'm sure I will never have.

I love this. In fact, I think this is the best photo of yours I've seen you post. Well, that's how much I like it.
I love all of it. Nice job on layering. I would not like it if the layer was behind the tree. |

The post processing definitely made the photo pop. I like the leveled cropped lake. I like the diagonal slope to the left.
I don't think black white would add to this. The color is what I like about this photo. I might do a further crop off the right side so that the stream aligns on the right third line of the grid.
Well, not sure the trees look like black clumps but maybe some more variation of color couldn't hurt.
Oh, how I'd love to see a dull March morning in your area. Someday. Thanks for sharing until I can see in person. |

I'm having trouble deciding on where I should focus. There are so many interesting spots in this photo.
This might be a time to play with layers with different opacity masks. Or brushes in different opacities. These special post processing effects can help direct the eye to the exact location you want us to see.
Another option would be to remove the objects on the wall so the only thing in the top third would be the head.
Such a fun adventure. Thanks for sharing.

Love the composition and the DOF.
I agree that the lower left flower is too bright and distracting. And maybe the little white triangle under the leaf.
Beautiful photo. |

Totally awesome shot! And yes, you do have star trails but one would have to actively look for them.
Often star trails and night skies are lacking foreground interest. You nailed it. The clarity of the trees and the trail is perfect.
So glad you were able to take advantage of this event. And thank you for sharing with us.
Hope you can enter this into some highly acclaimed event and win. |

Redbud trees and dogwoods bloom in southern Indian in the spring. Redbuds have very short blooming time, maybe about two weeks.
The porch is white but it does not photograph white. I have to do an exposure comp as it is a very dark area. Think the tree branches just went along for the adjustment. |
