Whelp. I see irony is not a part of this photo. So, cropped it out. Happy place for everyone but the turkey. Oh, well. I'll have to figure out how to do without printed words. |

Oooh, playing with an ND filter. I just got some and can't wait to try them out. Nice.
This could be my new computer screen but it seems a little HDR to me. A tad busy to me but not sure why. Could just be my new screen.
If not, I might crop even more to remove the rocks on the left bottom and along the side. Seems to distract from the great color focal point of the water. Would give some nice diagonal lines. Or not.
Ah, were you standing on a rock in the middle of this? Brave soul if you were.

Interesting photo. I like the composition. Clarity and detail are good. The textured background adds to the photo.
I do not see blood; I see tree sap which would make more sense to me. If the bug got stuck in the sap, then the ants took advantage of the opportunity. In that case, attached would make sense as the feast is attached.
Let me guess, an iPhone photo? They are getting so good. |

Like the conversion to black and white as well as the contrasting lines and circles. |

Interesting. I like it. It does make one wonder what happened.
Was there a temperature difference? Was the camera place directly or very close to the window pane?
You COULD blur the rim but I think it might lose it's interest. It might become too diffused changing the impact of the photo.
Guess the question is what is the story you want to tell?

Like the effect you produced. I understand your less than favorable straight black background. What about trying a different texture layer? I've seen some nice alternatives to the traditional black background.
Yup, fun flower. |
