27 Oct 21 Comment Check out those PAWS!!! For shooting at the zoo, this is very nice. Hard to control for pose, lighting and background.
Wonder what a selective focus in a post processing program might do to minimize the distractions in the background.

27 Oct 21 Comment Fun fall foliage. Ours have not started to change which is VERY late. So, it's nice to see some color in the trees.
That said, this looks like it has some enhanced saturation or HDR processing which means it looks overly bright to me. Wonder if there is any way to tone down the reflection on the rock while increasing the left side of the photo. I'm just learning how to do gradient masking. Any number of adjustments can be made using it. Just a thought.

27 Oct 21 Reply Ah, you caught me. Didn't like the blow out parts on the original so thought I'd do artsy.
It is good to learn how to tone down the hot spots. Thank you for teaching me how to do it.
I agree with Danny and Brad. Somewhere in between but I really like the excitement and euphoria of the artsy one.
I'll just have to play with it...OMGosh FYI, laptop died and won't be here until NOVEMBER not because of chip but rather 4K screen unavailable. Then, back up desktop didn't handle Windows update very well so just got it back from repair.
Hard to do this on my cell phone. But, desktop back and I should be able to play.
