Catch light in the eyes? Nice character snap. These are hard I think. Well done. |

I like the overall texture of this rendition. To me, I see too much "texture" in the models face blending it into the wall texture. I'd like to see her face smoother, brighter contrast to stand out from the wall like in the original while retaining the left facial shadow. I think those facial changes would add to the story of an Angel in Waiting. |

Like this effect. I'm not sure why but I am unsettled with the center front stalk. Wonder what it would look like cropped another way. I like the variation in colors from the pink to the purple. Also, I like the three sharp left hand spikes working together. Maybe it is the other large foreground spike that is blurry detraction from the photo. What does it look like removed? |

Nice to see the female's eye as well as her relationship with the ducklings. I wonder if the ducklings were ever facing you? Fun to watch the intereaction. |

Oh, Renee, I defer to Jon and Danny. I didn't notice the contrast between fore and background focus. I do like the suggestiong Jon made in rotating to have the quil in the upper left third line intersection.
I like the contrast in texture between the feather, water dropplets and the grill. |

I do like this technique but not on any of my photos. I like your rendition. I did try again after Danny's comment. |
