27 Mar 18 Reply Just learning about tonal quality. Club discussed after I posted this and dang, that photo is pretty flat. I am going to continue to work on the B&W tonal quality with everyone's help.
Also, didn't think about doing anything other that "auto" aperture as it was a drive by walk with non-photographer friends. I agree it could have been better depth. Step learning curve.

27 Mar 18 Comment I agree with everyone! Border makes it pop! Raggedy Andy/Ann's "I love you" is clear and endearing. The only thing I can think about this perfect photo is I might have set the time to a "bedtime' hour so that RA would be prompting bed. Totally minor thing. Great photo. No wonder it won. Mar 18th
27 Mar 18 Comment Nice golden hour glow. Like what you did with the sky. Spring is coming! Mar 18th
27 Mar 18 Comment Nice cold photo of a place I want to visit. Luck you. I agree with increasing the pink tone to "warm" it up a bit. I might also crop the right two boats out as my eye lingers there having followed the line from the lamp post to the steeple to the the church to the tips of the moorings. That might also reduce the white bottom a bit. The crop of the original got rid of some useless detail. Nicely done.
I love that this takes me to a place far away.

27 Mar 18 Comment I like the sun rays in the Luminar also. Can you just move the sun off the photo a little to the right? Think that might make it work a little better. Overall, like that playing around thing. Mar 17th
27 Mar 18 Comment Nice capture. Looks to me that the bird's eye is crisp. I could have taken the tail feather if left in the photo. I agree that a vignette might focus the viewer's eye. Welcome to the group! I'm a novice also. Mar 17th
27 Mar 18 Reply Red is a little bright. Woman gone. Mar 17th
27 Mar 18 Reply Not great but hope the light is not as vibrant. Mar 17th
27 Mar 18 Reply Ok, not real happy about the lady and the door. I could not get Topaz to save it so I had to use another program. Mar 17th
