Good post processing. A bit of noise due to the enlargement, but better to have the noise AND the detail of the feathers. |

Bruce, I believe the original is better of the lake and mountains. The bushes on the lower left and right bothered me, leading to their elimination and the resulting crop. - Kent

Excellent detail and color. Your depth of field appears perfect though I am surprised since you were f/6 at 450mm. I agree with Bruce, a little more space around the bird would be helpful. (Reminds me of some older relatives of mine.) |

A very good capture, and even though it was overcast, there is still a hint of catch-light in the eye. You should be pleased with the detail; saturated red and black are often difficult to expose correctly for detail. Good work. Question: at 1/1000 sec exposure, were on a tripod or hand held?
